Raftaar is an Indian Rapper, Singer, Songwriter, Music Director and Television Personality. His songs have a unique blend of lyrics and as his name Raftaar suggests “speed”. He was one of the members of the urban group named ‘Mafia Mundeer’. The group was formed by Yo Yo Honey Singh. He has also participated in the famous dance reality show DID. Raftaar is one of the few persons who has the charm to attract the world through his singing. His some famous songs are “All Black”, “Happy Single”, “Swag Mera Desi”, or more.
Raftaar Biography
He was born on 16 November 1988 Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala, India. The Rapping sensation Raftaar is himself a success story. He started his career as a dancer and has worked as a background dancer in few of the Bollywood movies. The rapper was first seen on television when he participated in dance reality show Dance India Dance. He couldn’t make it to win the show but after losing the show he started his career as a rapper. He has even worked as a dance teacher in New Delhi. The initial days of his music career was working with singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

He is a married man. He got married to his longtime Dilli wali girlfriend named Komal Vohra on December 1, 2016. The news of his marriage was quite sudden to his fans, though he tried to keep everyone updated on Instagram by his wedding photographs. Komal is an interior designer. She is the younger sister of Zee Tv’s popular actors Kunal and Karan Vohra.

He started his career in 2009. He got noticed by Honey Singh. Raftaar says he learned a lot about commercial music from him. And his split with ‘Mafia Mundeer’ brought him new opportunities which proved to be very fruitful for the singer. His turning point was his song “Swag Mera Desi” in which he dissed Honey Singh.
