Babbu Maan aka Tejinder Singh Maan is a well-known Punjabi singer, actor, Lyricist, music director and film producer. He is also known as Khantwala Maan and Maana Da Maan. His first debut album was released in 1998 titled as ‘Sajjan Rumall De Gaya’. The album was not so successful then he released his another album titled as ‘Tu Meri Miss India’ in 1999. The album became a sensational hit not only in India but in abroad as well. After establishing himself in Punjabi music Industry, he made his Bollywood debut with film Hawayein in 2003. He also made his acting debut with this film and played the supporting role in the film. The movie, because of its topic, didn’t release in India but was a huge hit overseas.

Babbu Maan Biography

He was born on 29 March 1975 in the village Khant Maanpur in Fatehpur Sahib District of Punjab. At the age of seven, he gave his first singing performance in a school function. He was always fascinated by music and it was his passion since his childhood that made him a professional level singer. Always aspired to become a singer, he learned to write music while he was student at the Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is the only Punjabi singer who writes lyrics for his songs, composes all the songs that he sing. He is a rage amongst his fans in Punjab and India because his songs are incredibly soul-stirring.

Babbu Maan was born in Punjab to Babu Singh Maan and Kulbir Kaur. He has two sisters named Rupie and Jassi. The singer is married to Harmandeep Kaur Maan.

The singer made his singing debut in the year 1998. His first album was not so hit. Later on, he climbed the popularity chart with his second album titled as ‘Tu Meri Miss India’ which was released in 1999. The album was a huge hit and made him the star overnight.
